Andreas R. Baudy, Ph.D. is a member of the Investigational Laboratory Sciences Group in the Safety Assessment Department at Merck & Co., Inc. For the past several years he has been a project leader at Merck evaluating advanced 3D human tissue models and is their representative in the cross-pharma IQ Microphysiological systems group. Additionally, he is actively involved with the development of cellular imaging assays for de-risking organ injury. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the Pennsylvania State University, his PhD in Molecular Medicine from the George Washington University, and conducted his post-doctoral fellowship at Genentech in the Biomedical Imaging Department.
