Junior Researcher, 3B’s Research Group, University of Minho
Manuel Gómez-Florit received his PhD degree in Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering in 2015 from the University of Balearic Islands, Spain. After a post-doctoral position at the University of Oslo, in 2016, he was awarded with a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship at 3B’s Research Group, University of Minho. Recently, he was awarded with a Junior Researcher Fellowship from Portuguese Science Foundation and he is involved in different research projects such as ERC-MagTendon, Achilles and SmarTendon. His research interests include the development of bioactive biomaterials and bioprinting strategies for tissue engineering with special focus on tendon regeneration.
